February News

On February 5th I enjoyed giving a children's art talk at the Children's Resource Center of the New Orleans Public Library on Napoleon Ave, shown in the top right photo.  Artist Bruce Davenport invited Alma Bryan Powell and me to exhibit in his annual group show called “The Good Stuff”.  A photo we took with him is in the lower right.  It was rewarding talking to the children about my art and inspirations.  I talked about the drawings from my Ghana series I'm standing in front of in the left photo.  I asked them where they had been and if traveling inspired them.  They seemed to enjoy talking about their travels.

Additionally, my art is now on display ongoing at the Second Story Co-op Gallery in the Healing Center on 2372 St. Claude Avenue in New Orleans, LA.
