Here is my latest art to share. My last two months were very artful. May 10th to 13th I participated in a collaboration with Courtney Bryan and Alma Bryan Powell called "Sister Portraits" at Southern Sonic: A Sound Art and Experimental Music Festival at the Contemporary Art Center in New Orleans. It included music interpretations of Alma's and my art originally composed and performed by Courtney Bryan. Here is a photo of the display that included earphones to listen to the music. There was also a performance on May 11th. Courtney played her original piano compositions and Alma projected slides of her and my work on a background screen. Here are photos from our event. Here is a link to some of Courtney Bryan's music on her website.   At the same time on May 12th my two person exhibit with Natori Green opened at the New Orleans Healing Center. Natori and I had an art talk on June 12th. Our exhibit was called "Woven". Here is a link to our art talk. The first video includes both Natori and I and the second video only includes my part.
